What is Project Access?

Project Access is a network of physicians that volunteer their time to see patients in their offices or in clinics on a pro bono basis. It is also a collaboration of diagnostic services, hospital care, and medication assistance in providing health care to the uninsured, low-income residents of Palm Beach County.  The program is administered by the Palm Beach County Medical Society Services and is funded through grants and donations.

To Qualify for Project Access

  • A legal resident and live in the Palm Beach County
  • Have no private health insurance and have been denied for all federal, state and county programs.
  • A family income that does not exceed 200% of Federal Poverty Level (i.e. $42,400 annually for a family of 4).

Please call the Project Access staff at (561) 433-3940 ext 26  or email projectaccess@pbcms.org if you think that you meet the criteria and in need of medical assistance.

Project Access is not an emergency program. If you have an immediate and urgent medical problem, please contact your physician or local emergency room.
